This Huntington Beach maternity session is a beautiful reminder of why the Southern California coastline is one of the most sought after locations for maternity photography. As an Orange County maternity photographer, I love incorporating the natural beauty of our coastal landscapes, and this session offered the best variety, blooming green foliage along the cliffs, soft ocean light against the reflective sky, iconic turquoise Huntington Beach lifeguard towers, and playful moments along the shoreline. Mimi and her daughter Mia shared such a sweet connection as they walked through the coastal greenery and splashed along the water, creating a collection of images that beautifully capture this season of motherhood.
Sessions like these hold a quiet kind of meaning. A moment in pregnancy where you are still the mother of one, but you are already holding space for two. Your toddler may not fully understand what is coming, but she can sense that something is changing.
